Machine Description

Due to the varying degrees of deformation of wet paper blanks after drying or air drying, there are also varying degrees of wrinkles on the surface of the product.

So after drying, it is necessary to shape the product. Plastic surgery is the process of placing a product on a molding machine equipped with a mold, and subjecting it to high temperatures (usually between 100 ℃ and 250 ℃) and high pressures (usually between 10 and 20MN) to obtain a product with a more regular shape and smoother surface.

Due to the wet pressing process, the product is formed without drying and directly subjected to hot pressing shaping. So in order to ensure that the product is fully dried, the hot pressing time is generally more than 1 minute (the specific hot pressing time depends on the thickness of the product).

Production Process

Molded pulp products can be simply divided into four parts: pulping, forming, drying&hot press shaping and packaging. Here we take egg box production as an example.

Pulping: waste paper is crushed, filtered and put into the mixing tank in a ratio of 3:1 with water. The entire pulping process will last about 40 minutes. After that you will get a uniform and fine pulp.

Molding: pulp will be sucked onto the pulp mold by the vacuum system for shaping, which is also a key step in determining your product. Under the action of vacuum, the excess water will enter the storage tank for subsequent production.

Drying & hot press shaping: formed pulp packaging product still contains high moisture content. This requires high temperature to evaporate the water. After drying, the egg box will have varying degrees of deformation because the structure of the egg box is not symmetrical, and the degree of deformation of each side during drying is different.

Packaging: finally, the dried egg tray box are put into use after finishing and packaging.
